Rebuild project that I have to sell due to change in circumstances and need the money. Alot of work and money been spent on it already. Basically down to assembly now. Alot of brand new imported Honda parts still in original packaging packed away in boxes. Still have original fairings, not cheap chinese crap. Fairings do need a little bit of attention, but overall not in the worst shape ever. Have papers. License is about R1380 behind, hence price.
Forks been polished, swingarm& shock linkage polished, Wheels, Sub-Frames, Frame been media blasted and sprayed Gloss black, clutch& stator covers also resprayed in Gloss black. High Quality paint used, and everything got stripped off and cleaned&prepped properly before painting. Not like the seemingly normal Southafricanlisted jobbies where everything gets covered in the cheapest paint they could find without even taking off and cleaning the bits that need painting.
Did Valve Clearances/ Shims before putting motor back in frame, new Motul 5100 10W40 Semi- Synthetic Oil, new oil Filter, new NGK Sparkplugs, new SBS Brakepads front and rear, New front and rear wheel bearings, new Cush drive Bearings, New Neck Bearings, New Front Caliper Seals, New Fork Seals installed.Carbs been cleaned, inspected, float levels on stock,bench synched. Did Compression test on motor after installation and all is well within spec. Oil pressure is there immediately after start-up and takes a moment to go after stopping motor, which indicates bearing oil clearances are still very good, which means healthy motor.
Also have a very good condition Hayens Manual for the bike at R450. Can also supply a complete PDF Honda Parts Manual/ Fiche on the bike. Whoever buys this could with a little bit of work more have one of the sweetest NC29's out there. So ja, all the hard, expensive and frustrating work has been done already. She now just needs assembly and couple of little things to be done. I am asking R19500 NOT NEGOTIABLE for her as she stands at the moment, and anybody who knows how many hours and money goes into a project like this will know this is a bargain. Once she's finished she'll be near to a R30 000 bike. I'm just not getting round to it and need the money urgently to sort other issues out. Please dont try use this as leverage to try get the price down. It is what it is and it wont get dropped. I will be doing more assembly on the bike as I can, and will be increasing the price accordingly, so in essence the sooner you buy it the cheaper you'll get it.
